Porthminster Beach - the calm, south-facing sandy bay with the award-winning Porthminster Café on its seafront - is around 300 metres downhill on foot. St Ives Harbour Beach is 400 metres, and Porthmeor Beach - the town's surf beach directly below the Tate St Ives gallery - is about 600 metres. The town centre, with its galleries, restaurants, and the Barbara Hepworth Sculpture Garden, is all within a 5-minute walk.

**Best for:** Couples and groups of 4 who want to be in the middle of St Ives within walking distance of 3 beaches, without paying for a harbour-front property.

**Less good for:** Guests who need car parking - this is a town-centre apartment and St Ives itself is not car-friendly.
