Pond Cabin

Pond Cabin is a single-storey one-bedroom log cabin near Stithians in central Cornwall, sleeping two with one bathroom. Everything is on the ground floor: an open-plan sitting and dining area with a kitchenette, a double bedroom and a shower room. It sits in 2.5 acres of garden with a pond and stream, there is shared use of an EV charger on site at extra cost, and dogs are welcome for a charge. The kitchenette has a small freestanding oven with two electric rings, and the nearest shop and pub are a 20-minute walk away.

Inside: Wi-Fi and parking are included. The cabin's single-storey layout means the bathroom and bedroom are on the same floor as the living space. Friday changeover.

The cottage sits roughly equidistant between Falmouth and Truro, each around 15-20 minutes by car. Maenporth Beach and Swanpool Beach on the Falmouth coast are 5.5 miles away, and Gyllyngvase Beach in Falmouth is 5.7 miles. The Gwennap Pit - an 18th-century natural amphitheatre where John Wesley preached to thousands - is in the local parish. The Eden Project is around 20 miles east.

No children are accepted at this property. Best for: couples or solo travellers, EV drivers, or dog owners wanting a quiet inland base with easy reach of both the Falmouth coast and Truro. Guests who need step-free access should check with the owner before booking.
