Porth Farm Annexe is a 5-bedroom, reverse-level cottage at Porth Farm in Mawgan Porth with 2 bathrooms. The reverse-level layout means the main living area and kitchen are on the upper floor, giving better light and views. Stone steps lead up to the front garden and the property, and stairs lead down from the living level to four of the five bedrooms. An open fire, BBQ, and enclosed garden complete the outdoor and indoor provision.

Mawgan Porth is a single-street village above a wide sandy bay - one of the north Cornwall coast's cleaner, less commercial beaches. The beach itself is 600m from the annexe. Bedruthan Steps, the National Trust-managed stack beach with its dramatic seasonal cliff access, is 1.4 miles north. Watergate Bay is 1.9 miles south, with the hotel beach and Fifteen Cornwall restaurant above the dunes. Padstow is around 15 minutes by car.

The Scarlet Hotel and Bedruthan Hotel are visible on the clifftop above Mawgan Porth - both are high-end hotels with restaurants and spa access, which means the area has a broader dining offer than the village's own shop and pub suggest. Petrol and a larger supermarket are at Wadebridge, 15 minutes inland.

Practical inclusions: Wi-Fi, off-road parking for 2 cars, dishwasher, washing machine. Two well-behaved pets are welcome. The bunk room is small.

Ideal for: large families or multi-generational groups wanting outdoor space and a reliable beach within walking distance. Suits guests who want north Cornwall without the Newquay crowd. Not ideal for: couples or small groups - the scale is built for a big group, and the price point reflects that.
