Ragleighs

Ragleighs is a seven-bedroom house on Worthy Hill in Trebetherick, sleeping 14 across three floors with four bathrooms. Properties at this size are uncommon in north Cornwall - most large group houses on the Camel Estuary mouth cap out at 8 to 10 guests. The house has both a wood burner and an open fire, which keeps it viable outside peak summer, and the ground floor includes accessible features for guests with mobility needs.

Wi-Fi, a dishwasher, a washing machine, and parking are all included. The enclosed garden provides outside space during the day. No dogs. Thursday changeover.

Three beaches are within 1.5km. Daymer Bay is 600 metres - a sheltered estuary-mouth bay with calm, shallow water suited to young children and confident paddlers rather than surf. Greenaway Beach is 900 metres further along the coast path. Polzeath - the main surf beach on this stretch, patrolled by RNLI lifeguards in season and home to several surf schools - is 1.5km. Rock is across the estuary for restaurants and the sailing club; the Black Tor ferry runs in summer for the 10-minute crossing.

Best for multi-family groups or large gatherings of 10 to 14 who want direct Camel Estuary access, a sitting room with fire, and ground-floor accessibility. Less good for smaller groups who would rattle around in seven bedrooms, dog owners, or anyone needing the flexibility of mid-week arrival other than Thursday.
