The Haven

The Haven is a six-bedroom house on Worthy Hill in Trebetherick, sleeping 12 across five bathrooms with an open fire, enclosed garden, and accessible ground floor. Two beaches are 700 metres away on foot - Daymer Bay Beach, the sheltered estuary beach favoured by families with young children, and Greenaway Beach, a quieter foot-access cove with rock pools and fewer crowds. Dogs are welcome throughout.

Inside, the house has a sitting room with open fire and a kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine. WiFi and parking are included. Five bathrooms across six bedrooms removes the main friction point for groups of 10 to 12 - roughly one bathroom per two guests. The accessible ground floor is practical for multi-generational parties. Bed linen is provided; changeover is on Fridays.

Polzeath Beach is about 0.8 miles north along the coast, with surf schools and seasonal lifeguard cover - a reliable learning break for beginners in the group. Rock village, about a mile south along the coast path, connects to Padstow by water taxi. The taxi runs every 20 minutes and gives access to restaurants on the Padstow side without driving. The Camel Trail starts at Wadebridge, 4 miles south, for cycling along the estuary.
