Rathillet is a 3-bedroom cottage at Trolver Hill near Feock, sleeping 6 across 2 bathrooms. The decked balcony overlooking the Feock creek is the property's defining feature - a useful outdoor space with water views that most inland cottages lack. The enclosed garden adds further outdoor room. Parking, dishwasher, washing machine, and wifi are included. No pets.

Feock sits on the Fal Estuary between Truro and the Roseland peninsula, an area of tidal creeks, wooded banks, and quiet roads with very little through traffic. The King Harry Ferry, a chain-reaction crossing over the Fal, is roughly 5 minutes by car and connects this bank of the estuary with the Roseland directly - cutting what would otherwise be a 45-minute drive to a 5-minute crossing. This makes Rathillet practical for exploring both sides of the estuary.

St Mawes, a small sailing village on the Roseland, is 6.8km by road. Castle Beach in Falmouth is 6.9km, and Gyllyngvase Beach - the town's main family beach with a cafe and lifeguards in season - is 7.3km. Truro city centre is roughly 20 minutes northeast, with the cathedral, the County Museum, and mainline rail connections.

This cottage suits adults, couples, or small families who want a calm base between two significant destinations - Falmouth and the Roseland - without the premium prices of a coastal address. The creek setting and balcony make it work for quiet stays as much as active exploring. Less suitable for large groups needing more bedrooms, and guests without a car will find the location limiting.

St Mawes offers ferry connections to Falmouth and walks around the Roseland coast path.
