Trebarwith Strand itself has a beach at the bottom of the valley that becomes fully sandy at low tide - access is on foot from the village. Tregardock Beach is 1.5 miles along the coast path, a particularly remote cove reached via steep steps with no road access. Bossiney Cove is 2.2 miles.

The stretch of north Cornwall coast between Port Gaverne and Tintagel is rugged walking country. The coast path directly above Trebarwith offers high cliff sections with Atlantic views. Tintagel, with its castle ruins and the Arthurian associations, is around 1.9 miles inland.

Ideal for couples or small families who want a north Cornwall village location with dogs and an open fire for autumn or winter breaks. Not great for those with accessibility requirements or who need more than 1 bathroom.
