Rockhaven Manor

Rockhaven Manor is a 6-bedroom Georgian-style house in Rock, sleeping 12 across 4 bathrooms. The interior runs to a sweeping mahogany staircase, chandeliers, and considered period-style detailing throughout. Bedrooms are arranged as 2 super-king, 1 king, 1 double, and 2 twins (one twin is a zip-and-link that converts to a super-king on request). An open fire anchors the main reception room, and extensive enclosed lawns wrap the property - a good space for larger groups with children or dogs.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher and washing machine, and parking, wifi, and a BBQ are all included. Up to 2 dogs are welcome. The house sits on a quiet lane in Rock, away from through traffic but within a short walk of the village pub, restaurants, and sailing school.

Daymer Bay Beach is about 1.4 miles - a sheltered estuary beach at the mouth of the Camel with calm, shallow water. Polzeath is around 2.2 miles for surf. Rock's water taxi to Padstow runs every 20 minutes through the day, giving access to Rick Stein's restaurants and the harbour without needing to drive. The Camel Trail cycle path starts at Wadebridge, about 4 miles south.

Best for: large family groups or celebrations wanting a well-furnished, spacious house within easy reach of Rock's watersports and the Camel Estuary. Less good for: budget stays or couples - the house is sized and priced for groups of 10 to 12.
