Rose's Stable

Rose's Stable is a 1-bedroom converted stable at Bodrean Manor Farm, on the outskirts of Truro, sleeping 2. The bedroom has an en-suite shower room; the open-plan living and dining area seats the two guests comfortably. A private enclosed courtyard provides outside space. One dog is welcome.

Wifi, parking, dishwasher, and washing machine are included. This is a farm setting with other holiday cottages on the same site, so it is less isolated than a standalone rural property.

Truro city centre is reachable in under 30 minutes by car. Truro Cathedral is the only cathedral in Cornwall and dates from 1880, with the Royal Cornwall Museum on River Street nearby. The Hall for Cornwall is the main regional venue for theatre and music.

Beaches require a drive from this inland location. Pendower Beach on the Roseland is about 6.8 miles away - a wide, relatively uncrowded beach facing south. Carne Beach is a similar distance, and Perranporth's 3-mile Atlantic beach is about 7.5 miles north. The Roseland has some of the quietest coves in the county.

This works well for a couple wanting a quiet, dog-friendly farm base with easy access to Truro's shops and cultural venues. The Trispen location puts it midway between the coast and the city with straightforward A30 access. Not good for guests who prioritise beach proximity - the nearest are a 15-minute drive. Changeover is Friday.
