Rowan

Rowan is a three-bedroom cottage at Killiow near Truro, sleeping 6 in all-ground-floor accommodation. Truro is the nearest city. Two bedrooms have an en-suite walk-in shower, and the twin room uses the separate wet room, giving the group three bathrooms in all.

If you need a specific bed arrangement, check it with the owners before you book. A wood burner and open fire are both in the open-plan living space. Wi-Fi, a dishwasher and a washing machine are included.

Parking and a garden are provided. Two well-behaved pets are welcome, with a supplement for the second. The lodge is single level with no steps, with an extra wide corridor and a gentle ramp from an adjacent private parking bay, and it is described as fully wheelchair accessible. The family wet room has a large shower area and discreet grab rails, and a shower chair is available on request. Guests with specific access needs should still ask the owners for door and bathroom measurements before booking.

Castle Beach and St Mawes are both 6.2 miles away. Pendower Beach is 6.3 miles from the cottage, so the coast requires a drive. The Carnon Downs guide covers the nearest town. The nearest shop is 1 mile away and the pub 2 miles. Changeover is on Friday, with check-in from 5:00 pm and check-out by 10:00 am. A cot and a highchair are available.

**Best for:** 3 couples or a family wanting two en-suites, a wet room and ground-floor accommodation. **Less good for:** guests wanting the beach nearby or anyone requiring detailed accessibility measurements before booking.
