Sam's Place is a two-bedroom apartment for four above the town centre in St Ives. One bedroom holds a double bed, and the twin room converts to a king size on request, so the layout suits a couple, two couples willing to share, or a family with older children. One bathroom serves both bedrooms.

The balcony and living room look out over the town rather than the sea, so guests wanting a confirmed sea view should look elsewhere. A washing machine is included. The lounge has a large bay window, a feature gas fire and a TV, and the kitchen has a dining table and chairs. The rear bedroom opens onto a decked area with a table and 4 chairs. Dogs are not accepted.

Porthminster Beach is 300m away, St Ives Harbour Beach is 400m and Porthmeor Beach, home to the Tate St Ives gallery, is 600m from the apartment. That puts three of St Ives' four beaches within a short walk, and the central position means the harbour restaurants and galleries are on foot too.

**Best for:** A couple or small family wanting flexible sleeping, a town-facing balcony and three beaches within 600m, all reachable on foot.

**Less good for:** Dog owners.
