Samuels Cottage is a Grade II listed stone property in Lanreath village sleeping eight across four bedrooms and two bathrooms. Up to four dogs are welcome - a generous allowance that suits multi-dog households or groups combining trips. The open fire, BBQ, and pool table give the house a sociable feel. Wi-Fi, parking (three cars), dishwasher, and washing machine are all included. Four bedrooms and two bathrooms mean eight guests are not queuing for a single shower.

Lanreath is a quiet inland village between Looe and Fowey, with a pub on the green and a farm attraction nearby. Lansallos Beach - a narrow AONB cove reached by a 20-minute walk from a National Trust car park - is 3.7 miles. Talland Bay, with its cafe and boat trips, is 4.2 miles. Looe town and its harbour are roughly 5 miles, offering fish and chip shops, a blue flag beach, and the Looe Valley railway. Lekerock Cove is 4.4 miles away.

This cottage is right for large groups and multi-family holidays where dogs are part of the party. The inland setting keeps prices down relative to coastal equivalents of similar size. Not great for those who need a beach within walking distance - the nearest cove requires a car. Saturday changeover.
