Crantock has a shop, a 13th-century church and two pubs, including the Old Albion. Crantock Beach, a broad stretch of National Trust sand backed by dunes, is 0.7 miles away. Fistral, across the Gannel Estuary in Newquay, is 1.1 miles, and Vugga Cove is 1.2 miles. Newquay's attractions, including the zoo and aquarium, are a short drive for a rainy day. There is no hot tub, pool or sea view, and the property doesn't have a wood burner or open fire.
