Shore Edge is a four-bedroom house in Portreath set directly above the village beach and harbour, sleeping 8 across 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. The wrap-around balcony faces the Atlantic and gives uninterrupted views over the surf at Portreath Beach, just 100m from the front door. Inside, a wood burner and open fire mean the property works in shoulder-season as well as summer, and the enclosed garden adds outdoor space sheltered from the wind. WiFi, dishwasher, and washing machine are all included.

Portreath is a compact village with a surf beach and a small harbour wall that locals fish from - it's not a tourist resort, which keeps it quieter than nearby Perranporth or St Agnes. The village has a café, a pub, and a general store, making it self-contained for a few days without a car. Godrevy Beach is 7.5km to the east, with its offshore lighthouse visible across the bay. Gwithian Towans - miles of National Trust dunes and surf - is 8.4km.

Ideal for two families or a group of 8 who want immediate beach access and sea views from the house itself. Dogs are welcome. The combination of a beach at the door and a working village rather than a resort makes Shore Edge a useful base across different seasons. Less suited for guests who prefer a pool or hot tub, as the property does not have either.
