St. Dominic Cottage

This former fisherman's cottage in St Ives is arranged over three floors. The kitchen/diner, which used to be the fish cellar, is below the first-floor sitting room, and both bedrooms, a double and a twin with a TV, are on the second floor. It sleeps four.

The shower room is on the ground floor, with a walk-in shower, basin and WC, and there is a separate cloakroom on the second floor. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, dishwasher and washer/dryer. WiFi, a Smart TV and central heating are included, along with fuel and power, bed linen and towels.

The staircase from the kitchen to the sitting room is narrow and relatively steep, so guests with reduced mobility or young children should take extra care on it. Smoking is not allowed.

Parking is in a public car park nearby. In July and August it only takes stays of 7 nights or more. The beach is 0.1 miles away, the pub 0.2 miles and the nearest shop 0.7 miles.

Tate St Ives and the Barbara Hepworth Museum and Sculpture Garden are the galleries to know, and Porthmeor Beach is the nearest sand. Carbis Bay and Zennor are close, and Penzance is a drive away. The cottage suits two couples or friends sharing, and is less good for toddlers because of the steep internal stairs.
