Stones Throw

Stones Throw is a Grade II listed house close to the harbour in Mevagissey, laid out over three floors. The shared rooms are a kitchen/diner, a sitting room and a games room with table football. The kitchen has a double oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and a washer/dryer, and there is wifi.

Each of the three bedrooms has a TV and an en-suite with a walk-in shower, basin and WC. The first floor holds a twin. The second floor has a super-king-size and a king-size. Central heating, fuel and power, bed linen and towels are included. A travel cot, highchair and stairgate can be provided.

The shop, the pub and the harbour are all 0.1 miles away, and the beach is 0.4 miles. Parking is by permit for one car. Three well-behaved dogs are welcome, and smoking is not allowed. St Austell is 5.5 miles away, and Truro 16 miles. Days out named for the area include the Lost Gardens of Heligan, the Eden Project and the tall ships harbour at Charlestown.

The house suits three couples or a family of six sharing, and the games room gives everyone something to do indoors. It is less good for anyone who wants to avoid stairs, since the bedrooms are on the upper floors.
