This central position means it can get busy and noisy at peak times, and light sleepers may want earplugs despite the double glazing. Porthmeor Beach, Tate St Ives and the Barbara Hepworth Museum are all a short walk away, along with the South West Coast Path. The Minack Theatre is 18 miles away, Newlyn is 10 miles, and Porthcurno, Land's End and St Michael's Mount are all within 20 miles.

Access is via a shared entrance hall and staircase to the second-floor apartment, a modern space with wooden flooring, ceiling spotlights and an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner for cooking and relaxing together. The kitchen has everything needed for family meals, and the lounge has sofas, a Smart TV and space to unwind after the beach. The king-size bedroom has an en-suite shower room, and the second bedroom's zip-and-link king-size bed can be made up as twins on request; both have plenty of storage and light from windows over St Ives' main street. A family shower room completes the apartment.

While the property doesn't have its own outside space, the beach and all St Ives' amenities are just moments away.

Best for couples or small families wanting a central St Ives base within a few minutes' walk of Harbour Beach and Porthmeor, with parking included. Less good for guests wanting peace and quiet or step-free access, since the apartment sits above the town's busiest street and is reached via a staircase to the second floor.
