Helston is the market town 3km east, with supermarkets and the Flambards heritage attraction. The Flora Day procession on 8 May each year fills Helston's main street with dancers and brass bands - rooms around here book up months in advance for that date. The Lizard is accessible from Helston going south, with Kynance Cove and the most southerly point of mainland Britain within 30 minutes.
