Sunnyside Cottage is a detached single-storey property near Jacobstow in the rural interior of North Cornwall, sleeping two in a king-size bedroom with an en-suite shower room. The open-plan lounge, kitchen, and dining area is arranged along the rear of the cottage, with glass patio doors opening directly onto the enclosed garden. The garden is generously sized for a one-bedroom property, with countryside views, a BBQ, and patio furniture included. Parking for two cars sits on the driveway at the front.

The cottage is fully equipped for a week-long stay - wifi, dishwasher, and washing machine are all provided, and up to two dogs are welcome throughout. The layout is on one level throughout, which makes it accessible for guests who have difficulty with stairs. The rural Jacobstow location is quiet, with no immediate neighbours visible from the garden, and the surrounding lanes are used regularly by walkers and cyclists.

Crackington Haven Beach is 6.5km to the west - one of the most dramatic beaches on the North Cornwall coast, backed by 400-foot cliffs of folded shale and with a pub and seasonal cafe at the car park. Millook Beach at 6.6km is less known and accessible via a steep track, with no facilities but significant geological interest in the tilted cliff strata. Widemouth Bay is 8.4km north, a broader beach with surf school hire and seasonal lifeguarding.

Right for couples wanting a quiet inland base with dog-friendly access to a wide stretch of coastline between Bude and Boscastle. Less good for guests wanting a coastal or village setting - Jacobstow is a hamlet and Bude is a 15-minute drive for shops, restaurants, and amenities.
