Four-bedroom house on Wentworth Close in Polzeath, sleeping 8 with four bathrooms - one per bedroom. Built around the surf trip: wetsuit rail and surfboard storage by the door, hot water for the after-session rinse, and an 800m walk down through the village to the sand.

The layout suits two families sharing or a group of eight - all four bedrooms have their own bathroom. Open-plan kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine, sitting and dining area, and patio doors onto an enclosed garden with the BBQ. Parking for two cars on-site. Wifi included. Changeover is Friday.

Polzeath Beach and the surf schools (Surf's Up, Outdoor Adventure) are an 800m walk down the hill - reliable beginner-friendly waves on the wide north-coast sand. Greenaway at 900m is rockier and far quieter at low tide. The coast path north climbs to The Rumps Iron Age cliff fort and on to Port Quin. Rock and the Padstow ferry are 2 miles south.

Best for two families sharing or a group of 8 surfers who want their own bathroom and the beach within walking distance. Less good for couples or smaller groups - the size and bathroom count are paid for whether you use them or not.
