Bodmin Moor is accessible to the north - the Minions standing stones and Golitha Falls are both within a 30-minute drive. Liskeard town has a railway station on the main London Paddington line, and a branch line connects to Looe - a useful option for car-free arrivals.

Suits families or small groups with accessibility requirements who want a quiet inland Cornish base with reasonable reach to both coast and moor. Not great for those who want beach access on foot or who need a washing machine for longer stays.
