Tamarama House

Views of the Atlantic and Port Gaverne are the draw at Tamarama House, a recently refurbished semi-detached home on the edge of Port Isaac. The front garden has sea views, and the sitting room, which has a log burner, looks out over the sea. The dining room next to it seats six, which matches the six guests the house sleeps.

All three bedrooms are doubles, two with queen beds and one with a double. The family bathroom upstairs has a bath with shower over, and there is a cloakroom with a WC downstairs. The kitchen has an oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, blender, kettle and toaster. Electric central heating, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included, and the house has TV, WiFi and a selection of books and magazines. A high chair and baby cot are available on request.

Off-road parking takes two cars, and there are front and back gardens. The shop is 0.2 miles away, the pub 0.5 miles and the beach 0.7 miles. Polzeath is 6.5 miles from the village and Padstow 16 miles. There is a step down to the property entrance.

Two well-behaved dogs are welcome, but they must stay on the ground floor and off sofas and beds. Damage can incur additional charges, and dog mess must be cleared up before check-out. The house is strictly non-smoking and parties are not allowed. It suits a family or friends sharing three double bedrooms, and is less good for dog owners who want their pets upstairs.
