Tamarisk Cottage is on Rosemundy in the upper part of St Agnes village, a terrace of older stone cottages set back from the main road. The one-bedroom layout sleeps 2 with 1 bathroom. The living room has an open fire for winter evenings, and the enclosed rear garden has a proper BBQ - not just a disposable grill. Wi-Fi, parking, dishwasher, and washing machine are all included. The position is well placed for the village itself. The bakery, independent shops, and the Taphouse pub are within easy walking distance. St Agnes is one of the more self-sufficient villages on the north Cornish coast, with enough going on that a car is not essential for day-to-day supplies.

Trevaunance Cove is 0.7 miles downhill - the village beach, a small sheltered cove between rocky headlands with surf in the right conditions and rock pools at low tide. The walk back up is steep. Trevellas Cove is 1 mile south along the coast path, more secluded and less visited. Perranporth and its 3-mile sand beach is 3.4 miles north along the B3285.

Chapel Porth is around 1.6 miles on the coast path - a National Trust-managed cove beneath the Wheal Coates engine house, one of the most distinctive mine ruins on the north coast. St Agnes Head gives open clifftop walking with views north to Newquay and south toward Hayle.

Ideal for couples who want a village-based stay with coastal walks and good food options close by. Not great for anyone needing dog-friendly accommodation or wanting to drive to multiple beaches each day.
