St Ives Harbour Beach is 500m, and Porthmeor Beach, the town's surf-facing Atlantic strand, is 800m to the north. All three are within a ten-minute walk.

St Ives town centre is on the doorstep, with a range of galleries, restaurants, and independent shops. The Tate St Ives gallery is adjacent to Porthmeor Beach.
