The Cow Shed

The Cow Shed is a single-storey converted barn for two at Newbridge, on the edge of Truro, Cornwall's only city. Its one bedroom and one bathroom include a walk-in shower, and the compact single-storey layout suits a couple or solo guest without stairs to manage.

Wi-Fi, a washing machine, a private garden and off-road parking for two cars are included. Dogs are not accepted. Weekly changeovers take place on Saturdays. Truro is the nearest town, and Porthtowan Beach is 6.8 miles away.

Truro's Gothic Revival cathedral, completed in 1910, dominates the skyline, with the indoor Pannier Market, Lemon Street shops and the Hall for Cornwall theatre all within the city centre. The Falmouth branch line departs from the city's own station, useful for a car-free day at the coast.
