The Gulls

The Gulls is a four-bedroom house for eight in West Looe, with views across the town, river and beach from its upper floors. Two double bedrooms have en-suite shower rooms and TVs, and two king-size bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms, TVs and sea views; one king can be made up as a twin if requested in advance. Four bathrooms mean each pair of guests has separate facilities.

Exposed stonework and a nautical theme run through the interior. The kitchen is separated from the living room by a breakfast bar, and the dining table sits in a window alcove with glass on three sides. Parking, a dishwasher, a washer/dryer and a garden are included, but dogs are not accepted, so this suits a group without a pet.

East Looe Beach, a sheltered sand beach with a working fishing harbour and cafes minutes away, is 200 metres from the house. Hannafore Beach, known for some of Cornwall's best rock pools, is 0.4 miles away, and Plaidy Beach is 0.9 miles away with a coastal path walk into town. The house sleeps eight across its four en-suite bedrooms, and parking is included.

**Best for:** eight guests wanting four en-suite bedrooms, sea views and three beaches within a mile.

**Less good for:** guests needing step-free access, or a dog-friendly stay.
