The Millhouse

The Millhouse is a 2-bedroom farm cottage at Cornhill Farm, St Blazey, in south Cornwall. It sleeps 4 across one double and one twin bedroom, with a single bathroom, and sits within a working farm complex that includes a children's playground and a central courtyard garden. The Eden Project is under 1 mile north by road - the closest village to Cornwall's largest visitor attraction.

Inside, the cottage has WiFi, a smart TV, a washing machine, and a contemporary shower room with a walk-in shower. Bed linen, towels, fuel, and power are all included. One off-road parking space is provided.

Carlyon Bay - a long, gently sloping sandy beach - is about 1.8 miles south, and Charlestown's historic harbour is roughly 2.4 miles west. Charlestown has tall ships, the Shipwreck Treasure Museum, and cliff-top coast path walks. Par Sands, a broad beach running down toward Par, is a similar distance south. St Austell town centre, with supermarkets and a railway station on the main Penzance line, is about 3 miles west. Fowey, with its restaurants and estuary ferry, is around 6 miles east by road.

**Best for:** Families with young children who want Eden Project access without staying in a tourist hotspot, groups wanting practical south Cornwall base with road access to beaches, Fowey, and Charlestown.

**Less good for:** Couples wanting a quiet rural retreat (farm setting with a playground is family-oriented), guests needing a dishwasher, or anyone wanting sea views.
