The Old Dairy Barn

The Old Dairy Barn is a 1-bedroom cottage on Chapel Street in the centre of St Just, sleeping 2. It sits in the most westerly town on mainland England, within easy reach of some of the most dramatic coastline in Cornwall. Dogs are welcome, and the cottage has a private garden alongside WiFi and off-road parking.

Inside, the cottage is compact and well suited to a couple. One double bedroom and a single bathroom keep things straightforward. The garden offers outdoor space without the scale that would feel wasted on a two-person stay.

Cape Cornwall - the only cape in England - is about 1 mile away, reached on foot through the town and down to Priests Cove, a rocky Atlantic cove at its base. The coast path north from the cape leads to the Crowns engine houses at Botallack, part of the UNESCO Cornwall and West Devon Mining Landscape World Heritage Site. St Just's own market square has two pubs, a bakery, and independent shops within a few minutes' walk of the cottage. Sennen Cove is about 3.5 miles south, and Geevor Tin Mine is a short drive north.

**Best for:** Couples wanting an authentic west Cornwall base with coast path access, mining heritage, and a proper working town on the doorstep. Dogs welcome throughout.

**Less good for:** Families needing multiple bedrooms, or guests wanting beach-side accommodation - the nearest sandy beach at Sennen Cove is a short drive away.
