The Old Dairy

The Old Dairy is an accessible two-bedroom cottage at Manor Farm in Pendeen, sleeping 4 with 1 bathroom. The cottage is purpose-adapted for accessibility, making it one of the few fully equipped accessible options on the north Penwith coast.

Inside, the two bedrooms accommodate four guests in a straightforward layout, with Wi-Fi, parking, a dishwasher, and a washing machine included. No pets are permitted. Saturday changeover.

Pendeen sits on the Tin Coast, and the Geevor Tin Mine museum - part of the Cornwall and West Devon Mining Landscape UNESCO World Heritage Site - is within the village. Visitors can walk underground through 18th-century tunnels and see the original ore processing mill. Priests Cove at Cape Cornwall is around 3 miles south-west: a rocky cove popular for sea swimming with views to the Brisons rocks offshore. The B3306 coast road through the village connects to St Ives about 8 miles north-east, passing through the clifftop mining landscape.

St Just, 2 miles south, has a pub, a bakery, and a square that hosts outdoor performances. Cape Cornwall itself is worth the short detour for the view north along the cliffs.

**Best for:** groups of up to four needing an accessible base to explore the far west - mining heritage, rugged coast path walking, and quiet coves within a short drive. **Less good for:** those wanting sandy beaches close by or travelling with dogs; the nearest sandy beach (Gwynver) is around 5 miles away.
