The farm is on the edge of Rescorla village, with a footpath giving direct access to the Eden Project biomes approximately 3km on foot. Porthpean, a smaller sheltered beach, is 6.8km. St Austell town is 4km and has a mainline rail station with direct services to London Paddington, along with supermarkets and a covered market.

Best for a couple, particularly those who need or prefer single-level accessible accommodation and want to visit the Eden Project and Mid Cornwall's coast. The footpath to Eden is a practical advantage over other cottages in the area. Not great for guests who want the coast on the doorstep, as the nearest beach is a drive away.
