The Studio

The Studio is a one-bedroom cottage near Crackington Haven on the north Cornwall coast, sleeping 2 in a double bedroom with 1 bathroom. The property has a private enclosed garden, off-road parking, a washing machine, and Wi-Fi. Dogs are welcome.

Inside the cottage the layout is compact and self-contained, suited to a couple using it as a base for the coast path and local beaches. No dishwasher, but a washing machine is included - practical for longer stays or walking trips.

Crackington Haven Beach is about 1.2 miles away - a coarse-sand cove enclosed by sandstone and shale cliffs that reach nearly 400 feet, with RNLI lifeguard cover in summer and reliable surf for bodyboarders. The coast path north towards Bude crosses High Cliff at 731 feet, the highest sheer cliff in Cornwall. Southward, the path runs 5 miles to Boscastle through equally exposed terrain. The Coombe Barton Inn in the hamlet provides food and drink within a short drive.

Best for: couples or solo walkers wanting a quiet rural base near one of north Cornwall's most dramatic stretches of coast, with a dog-friendly garden and coast path access at the door. Less good for: those expecting a beach-village setting - the cottage sits inland from the cove, and the nearest town facilities are a drive away.
