The Workshop

The Workshop is a first-floor apartment above an independent sports shop, a few yards from the shops in the centre of Bude. Summerleaze and Crooklets, the town's two big sandy beaches, are both just yards away, and the pubs, restaurants, a beach cafe, tennis courts, the indoor swimming pool and sports centre, golf and riding are all within easy walking distance.

Everything is on one floor. The open-plan kitchen, dining and sitting area has laminate floors and glazed doors onto a small private terrace. There are 3 bedrooms and sleeping for five: a double and a single that both have en-suite access to the same shower room, plus a twin. The family bathroom has a bath with a hand shower. Central heating, bed linen, towels, fuel and power are all included.

The kitchen has a microwave, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer, and there is a TV with DVD and WiFi. A cot and highchair can be requested. Off-road parking is for one car, in a reserved space. No pets are allowed, and smoking is not permitted.

With three bedrooms, one of them a single, the layout suits a family of up to five who want to walk to the beach. It is less good for a group needing more than one parking space, and for anyone bringing a dog.
