Tregurno

Tregurno is a four-bedroom cottage on Street-An-Pol in St Ives, sleeping 8 across 3 bathrooms, positioned less than a minute’s walk from the harbour. The interior has a newly fitted kitchen separate from the open-plan living and dining room, with original features including overhead beams, sash windows, and alcoves. The painted staircase and cream-and-natural palette give the cottage a consistent look throughout.

Outside, there are two distinct spaces: a front terrace with bistro seating and an outdoor shower for wetsuits, and a walled courtyard garden at the rear large enough for al fresco dining for the whole group. The courtyard has a hot tub and a ceramic Kamado charcoal barbecue. Dogs are welcome, and the proximity to the harbour, beaches, and coast path makes this practical for dog owners.

Porthminster Beach is under 100 metres away - south-facing, lifeguarded, and with a beachfront cafe. Porthmeor Beach, St Ives’ surf beach next to the Tate gallery, is about 500 metres further. The harbour itself is the heart of St Ives: restaurants, galleries, and the Barbara Hepworth Sculpture Garden are all walkable.

**Best for:** Families or groups of 8 wanting a central St Ives base with a hot tub, courtyard space, and direct access to the harbour and beaches. **Less good for:** Those wanting a quieter coastal setting away from the town.
