Trehaverock Cottage
from £702/week
Early 1600s four-bedroom cottage in St Endellion, one pet
Trehaverock Cottage dates from the early 1600s and stands in the village of St Endellion, 2.8 miles from Port Isaac. Slate floors, exposed ceiling beams and a stone fireplace remain, and the sitting room has a woodburning stove. The house has a piano, a study and a music room as well as a kitchen and a conservatory used for dining.
The cottage sleeps six in four bedrooms. A double is on the ground floor, served by a shower room with a walk-in shower, basin and WC. Upstairs are a super-king-size, a double and a twin, with a family bathroom that has a bath, hand-held shower, basin and WC.
Electric central heating, power and fuel are included, along with bed linen and towels. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer, and there is Freeview TV, a DVD player and WiFi. A travel cot and highchair can be provided.
The garden is enclosed, with a patio and furniture, and parking takes three cars. One well-behaved pet is welcome. The pub is 1.8 miles away, the shop 2.7 miles and the beach 1.4 miles. Smoking is not allowed. It suits a family or friends with one pet who have the use of a car, and is less good for anyone hoping to walk to the shops.
