Coverack is a small fishing village on the east side of the Lizard peninsula, with a sheltered bay, a pub, and a handful of independent shops. The coastline around here is less visited than Kynance or Mullion, making it well suited to guests who prefer quieter coves over busy beaches. Porthoustock Beach is 4.4km and Cadgwith is 7.1km along the coastal path or by road.

Inside, Wi-Fi and parking are provided. There is no dishwasher or washing machine, but the open fire and wood burner make it a comfortable base for cooler months. The property is listed through both Cornwall Hideaways and Rural Retreats, with only 3 reviews so far - fewer than most comparable Lizard properties.

The Lizard peninsula as a whole is one of the less commercially developed parts of Cornwall. The coastline between Coverack and Cadgwith sees relatively few visitors compared to the north coast. The 20-mile stretch of coast path in either direction from Coverack passes through some of the county's least-visited terrain.

This is ideal for a family of 6 or two couples wanting a genuinely village-centre location on the Lizard. Not great for those needing a dishwasher or on-site laundry. The sea views and working fireplaces suit off-season stays - October through March works particularly well here when the crowds have gone.
