Treverbyn Vean Lodge

Treverbyn Vean Lodge is a Grade II listed detached holiday house near St Neot on the edge of Bodmin Moor, sleeping eight across four bedrooms. Original features include Gothic windows, arched doorways and beamed ceilings, giving the property real architectural character.

Inside, wood burners heat the living and dining rooms and the bathroom facilities have been recently refurbished. The layout is spacious and comfortable, geared to larger families or two households sharing. A welcome pack with homemade cake arrives on the day of check-in.

Outside, nearly an acre of garden surrounds the lodge, with private access to the River Loveny at the end of the grounds for fishing. Percy the resident peacock has made the garden his home and often appears to greet guests. Parking is on site.

The property sits close to the A30/A38 corridor, putting Looe, Polperro and Fowey within reach on the south coast and the Eden Project a short drive away. Bodmin Moor and its walking trails, including Golitha Falls, are immediately to the north. The nearest beaches are around the Looe area, roughly 14 km away. The Lodge can be let alongside the neighbouring Stable for a combined sleep of 14.
