Treworgey Middle Barn

Treworgey Middle Barn is a two-bedroom converted barn cottage sleeping 4, set within a 110-acre private estate a few miles from Liskeard in south-east Cornwall. The estate sits between Bodmin Moor to the north and the coast at Looe, 13 miles south, making it a practical inland base for exploring both.

The cottage has two bedrooms - a king-size master and a twin - one family bathroom, and a separate ground-floor WC. The open-plan lounge has exposed beams, wooden flooring and an open fire, with a kitchen/diner on the same level seating four. Accessible throughout, with EV charging on site. Dogs are welcome. Note: there is no wifi.

Shared estate facilities are the main draw. A heated outdoor saltwater pool runs from late May to mid-September. Tennis court, boules court and a games room with pool table and table football cover the less settled days. The enclosed garden has decking, seating and a BBQ. Woodland paths and streams run through the 110 acres.

Looe is the nearest coastal town, reachable by the Looe Valley Line branch railway from Liskeard - 30 minutes through wooded valley. The Adrenaline Quarry and Monkey Sanctuary are both within a short drive. Best for families or dog-owning couples who want estate facilities without a coastal price. Less good for anyone who needs reliable wifi or wants to walk to the sea.
