Valley View is a three-bedroom cottage at Kerthua Park near St Ewe, sleeping 6 with 2 bathrooms. The three bedrooms are on the ground floor: a king-size, a double and a twin that can be made up as a larger bed on request. A wet room style shower room is down there too, while the open-plan living space and a second bathroom are upstairs. The property has a garden, Wi-Fi, and parking. Dogs are welcome.

Mevagissey is about 2 miles north - a working fishing harbour with independent shops, fish and chip shops, and boat trips. Gorran Haven beach is 1.8 miles away, a quieter option on the south coast. Pentewan beach is 2.2 miles, and Hemmick beach - a small and less-visited cove - is 2.3 miles. The Lost Gardens of Heligan are under 3.1 miles, and the Eden Project is around 9.9 miles east.

This is best for a family or small group who want a quiet base within reach of south Cornwall's coves and gardens. The combination of Heligan nearby, the harbour at Mevagissey, and several beaches within 2.5 miles means there is enough variety for a week without needing to drive far. Less good for anyone who needs to avoid stairs, since the living space is upstairs. A washing machine and tumble dryer are in the first-floor bathroom. Friday changeover.
