On-site facilities include golf, spa treatments and the complex's bar and restaurants. Callington (3.5 miles) and Saltash (6 miles) have supermarkets and pubs, and Plymouth (12 miles) has the National Marine Aquarium, the Mayflower Steps, Plymouth Hoe and the Barbican. The South West Coast Path passes coastal villages including Kingsand, Cawsand (18 miles), Looe (15.5 miles) and Polperro (20.5 miles). Family-friendly days out include Adrenalin Quarry (12 miles), Morwellham Quay (11.5 miles) and Cotehele Mill (3.5 miles).

The entrance hallway of this cottage leads to a large open-plan lounge/kitchen/dining room with timber-clad ceilings and a central dining table. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge and washing machine, and the lounge has a Smart TV and patio doors onto the terrace. The first bedroom has a super-king-size zip-and-link bed (or twin, on request), a dressing table and patio doors, with a shower room across the lounge. The second bedroom has the same bed configuration with its own en-suite shower room and patio doors onto the terrace. The third bedroom also has a super-king-size zip-and-link bed, a seating area with a Smart TV, patio doors, and an en-suite bathroom with a shower over the bath.

Outside is a terrace with garden furniture and a balcony off the lounge, plus 450 acres of grounds to roam. Guests also have use of the Complementary Health Club. Private off-road parking for two cars.

**Best for:** families or groups of friends wanting resort-style extras, with the private pool, spa access and golf course all within the St Mellion Estate grounds. **Less good for:** dog owners with more than two dogs, since the dog limit here is two.
