Westray House

Westray House is a 4-bedroom cottage on West Ray Road in Polzeath, sleeping 8 with 4 bathrooms - enough space to avoid morning queues. Polzeath Beach is 600 metres away, a half-mile surf beach with lifeguards in season and several surf schools running from Easter through October.

The cottage has a hot tub, an open fire, Wi-Fi, a dishwasher, and a washing machine. The accessible layout makes it one of the few Polzeath properties that works for mixed groups with mobility requirements. Note there is no on-site parking - the village car park is the nearest option. No pets.

Polzeath is a north Cornwall surf village with a deli, a Co-op, cafes, and the Oyster Catcher bar and restaurant. Rock is about 2 miles south along the coast road, where the water taxi crosses the Camel Estuary to Padstow. The coast path walk from Polzeath to Pentire Point gives views across the estuary to Trevose Head - one of the more rewarding short walks in the area.

**Best for:** Groups of 8 who want a surf-village base; anyone needing accessible accommodation in Polzeath; those who prioritise proximity to the beach over a private parking space.

**Less good for:** Those who need to bring a car and want guaranteed parking outside the door. Dogs are not accepted. No EV charging on site.
