Wheal Amelia Lodge

Wheal Amelia Lodge is a single-storey lodge on a holiday park near Wendron, with Helston 1.5 miles away. The park has a 9-hole, par 3 golf course with equipment hire, an 18-hole football golf course, rugby golf and an adventure playground with a climbing frame and slides. A family-run bar and restaurant is on the park, and the pub is 0.1 mile away.

The lodge sleeps four. The bedrooms are a double and a bunk room, and there is also a sofa bed, though it does not raise the capacity. A shower room has a walk-in shower, basin and WC. The open-plan living space combines a kitchen, dining area and sitting area, with patio doors letting in the morning sun. The kitchen has an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge, kettle and toaster, and there is a Smart TV, Amazon Alexa and WiFi. Central heating, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included.

A highchair and travel cot are available on request. At the front is a gravelled and lawned area with furniture, which is not enclosed, and parking is off-road. The nearest shop is 1.1 miles away.

One well-behaved pet is welcome and the lodge is non-smoking. During the summer holidays the minimum stay is seven nights. It suits a family with children who want the park's golf and playground, and is less good for four adults wanting separate bedrooms, as one bedroom has bunks.
