Wheal Rose Lodge

Two bedrooms, a double and a bunk room, give Wheal Rose Lodge room for four. The single-storey lodge is on a holiday park at Wendron, with Helston 1.5 miles away, and a walk-in shower room is the only bathroom.

Behind the lodge the non-enclosed lawn has a picnic bench, a hammock and a wood-fired hot tub, which needs heating before use, so enquire when booking. A gravelled area with furniture sits at the front. Open-plan living covers kitchen, dining and sitting space, with an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge and central heating.

There is a Smart TV, Amazon Alexa and WiFi, and fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included. Off-road parking is provided, and a highchair and travel cot are available. The pub is 0.1 miles away on the park and the nearest shop is 1.1 miles off.

The park has golf, an 18-hole football golf course and an adventure playground with slides and a climbing structure. One well-behaved pet is welcome and smoking is not allowed. The minimum stay in the summer holidays is seven nights. The lodge is best for a family or two friends bringing one dog; it is less good for groups above four.
