Porth Beach House

Porth Beach House is a two-bedroom house for four on the edge of Newquay, in St Columb Minor. The king-size and twin bedrooms each have an en-suite bathroom and French doors opening to the enclosed garden and decking, so every guest has private washing facilities as well as a made-up bed.

Both living areas and a balcony face the Atlantic. Parking is included, and up to two dogs are accepted. There is no Wi-Fi, dishwasher or washing machine, so self-catering guests should plan supplies and laundry accordingly.

St Columb Minor is an older village than Newquay itself, absorbed into the town in 1960; its 15th-century parish church stands in a churchyard that feels separated from the surrounding development. Tolcarne Beach is 0.4 miles away, Great Western Beach 0.6 miles and Whipsiderry Beach 0.7 miles from the house, with Newquay's other beaches and the South West Coast Path also within walking reach.
