Cedar-clad lodge for two with a private hot tub
Cedar cladding and a sunken hot tub give 1 Horizon View its character. It is a single-storey lodge for two guests in Dobwalls, close to Bodmin Moor, with Looe, Polperro and Fowey along the South Cornish coast.
The one bedroom has a four-poster double bed and a freestanding bath, with an en-suite shower room that has a shower, basin and WC. A separate bathroom has a bath, basin and WC. The open-plan living area combines the kitchen, dining space and sitting area, with an electric fire, electric central heating and a TV with Freeview. Books, games and DVDs are provided, and Wi-Fi is included.
The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer and dishwasher. Outside, a private decked terrace has furniture and the hot tub. Bed linen, towels, fuel and power are all included in the rent. A travel cot (no mattress) and a highchair can be hired, and there is off-road parking for 2 cars. An electric vehicle charging point is available at an extra cost.
A lake lies within the grounds, so children must be supervised at all times. Barbecues cannot be brought onto the site, Sunday arrivals are not permitted, and the lodge is no smoking. Pets are not allowed. Check-in is from 4pm and check-out is at 10am. The nearest shop is 0.3 miles away and the pub is 0.4 miles.
It is ideal for a couple and less good for a family, since the lodge has one bedroom and a lake sits close by.
