19 Meadow Retreat
from £462/week
Single-storey lodge for two with sauna and cinema room
A cinema room and a sauna are the two extras at 19 Meadow Retreat, a single-storey lodge for two in Dobwalls. There is one super-king-size bedroom, and the shower room has a walk-in shower, basin and WC, with the spa area and its sauna alongside.
Kitchen, dining area and sitting area make up one open-plan space. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, dishwasher and a coffee machine. There is a TV with Freeview, a Bluetooth music system, WiFi and electric central heating, and fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included.
A private decked terrace has patio furniture. Two well-behaved dogs are welcome and must be on a lead at all times on site. Steps lead up to the property. Parking is off-road for one car, and an EV charging point is available at an extra cost. A travel cot (no mattress) and highchair can be hired.
Shop and pub are both 0.5 miles away. Because of the lake on site, children need to be supervised at all times. Barbecues cannot be brought to the site, smoking is not allowed, and Sunday arrivals are not permitted; check-in is 4pm and check-out 10am. The lodge suits a couple with one or two dogs who like a film evening and a sauna. It is less good for anyone with a toddler, given the steps and the lake.
