lodge Lanreath
1 Valley View
from £454/week
One-bedroom lodge with sauna and cinema room, sleeps 2
The spa area is what sets 1 Valley View apart: a jacuzzi spa bath, a sauna and a TV, plus a separate cinema room. The lodge stands at Lanreath, near Looe and Polperro, and sleeps two in a single super-king bedroom. The shower room has a walk-in shower, basin and WC. Everything is on the ground floor, but the property is reached by steps.
The open-plan living area combines the kitchen, dining area and sitting area. The kitchen has an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, coffee maker, dishwasher and washer/dryer, and the lodge has a TV with Freeview, a Bluetooth music system and WiFi. Gas central heating is provided, and fuel and power are included in the rent. Two bathrobes, towels, bed linen and travel-size toiletries are supplied. A travel cot without a mattress and a highchair can be hired.
A private, enclosed and gated decked terrace has patio furniture. One well-behaved dog is welcome and must stay on a lead at all times on site. Off-road parking is for one car, with an EV charging point. Smoking is not allowed, barbecues cannot be brought to the site, and Sunday arrivals are not permitted. There is a lake on the site, so children must be supervised at all times. The shop and pub are a 10 minute walk away.
The lodge is ideal for a couple wanting a quiet break; the steps up to the door and a single bedroom make it less good for a family.
