10 Horizon View

From the decking at 10 Horizon View, open countryside runs off towards Bodmin Moor in the distance, and the hot tub is built into that same deck. This contemporary wooden lodge sits on the fringes of Dobwalls and sleeps four in two bedrooms. Floor-to-ceiling windows light the open-plan kitchen, dining and sitting area, which has an electric fire.

The double bedroom has an en-suite shower room with a heated towel rail. The twin room has a TV, and its beds are zip-and-link, so they can be made up as a double on request. The bathroom, with a bath and a shower over it, serves the twin room. In the kitchen there is an electric oven and hob, a microwave, a fridge/freezer, a washer/dryer and a dishwasher. The rent includes electricity, heating, bed linen and towels, and there is WiFi, Freeview TV and a DVD player.

Two well-behaved dogs are welcome and must be on a lead at all times on the site. The lodge's decking is not dog-safe, so a dog should be accompanied there throughout. The shop is 0.3 miles away and the pub 0.4 miles. Off-road parking takes 2 cars. A lake on the park means children need supervising at all times, and barbecues cannot be brought to the site. A travel cot (no mattress) and highchair are available to hire.

Check-in is from 4pm and check-out by 10am; Sunday arrivals are not permitted, and the lodge is non-smoking. It suits two couples sharing, one in the en-suite double and one in the twin, or a family of four with a dog or two.
