Set on a hilltop with lakeside views, 15 Faraway Fields is a single-storey lodge in Dobwalls with two bedrooms for four guests. The double bedroom has a TV and an en-suite with a walk-in shower, basin and WC, and the twin room shares the bathroom, which has a bath with a shower over.
The open-plan living area has a kitchen, dining space and a sitting area that opens to the terrace. The kitchen has an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer and dishwasher. One TV is a Smart TV and one has Freeview, and WiFi and electric central heating are provided. Fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included.
Wraparound decking has furniture and a hot tub, with a communal lawn nearby. Parking is off-road for two cars, and there is additional parking on site. An EV charging point is provided. A travel cot (no mattress) and highchair can be hired. Barbecues cannot be brought to the site, and there is a lake on site, so children need to be supervised at all times.
The shop is 0.3 miles away and the pub 0.4 miles. Pets and smoking are not allowed. Check-in is 4pm, check-out 10am, and Sunday arrivals are not permitted. It suits a family of four or two couples travelling without a dog; it is less good for young children who cannot be watched near the lake.
