11 Faraway Fields

Decking with a hot tub and a communal lawn give 11 Faraway Fields its outdoor appeal, and inside the single-storey lodge in Dobwalls there are two bedrooms for four guests. The king-size has a TV, a dressing area and an en-suite shower room with a walk-in shower, basin and WC. The twin bedroom is next to the family bathroom, which has a bath with a shower over.

The kitchen, dining area and sitting area share one open-plan room. The kitchen has an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. There is a TV with Freeview, WiFi and electric central heating, and fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included. A travel cot (no mattress) and highchair can be hired.

Two well-behaved dogs are welcome, and they are to be kept on a lead at all times on site. Parking is off-road for one car, and an EV charging point is available at an extra cost. Barbecues cannot be brought to the site, and smoking is not allowed. A lake on site means children need to be supervised at all times.

The shop is 0.4 miles away and the pub 0.5 miles. Check-in is 4pm, check-out 10am, and Sunday arrivals are not permitted. The layout suits a family of four, or two couples, especially with dogs; it is less good for anyone who needs a second parking space, as there is room for one car.
