19 Honicombe Park

Number 19 is a semi-detached lodge on Honicombe Manor, at St Ann's Chapel, near Gunnislake. The layout is reversed: the three bedrooms sit on the ground floor, while the kitchen and the open-plan dining and sitting area are on the first floor. Sleeping six, it has a double with an en-suite bath and shower over, a twin, and a second twin whose small 2'6 beds are not full size. A separate ground-floor shower room makes two bathrooms in all.

The balcony has patio furniture and a private hot tub. Inside, you get an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, washing machine, dishwasher, TV, DVD, stereo and WiFi. Electric central heating, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included, and a travel cot and highchair can be requested. Parking is off-road, with plenty of spaces, though it works on a first come, first served basis.

Guests share the on-site leisure club, which includes a tennis court. No swimming pool is available in 2026 until further notice, so do not book expecting to swim. A shop and pub are on site, and open streams run within 10 yards of the lodge. Bookings run Saturday to Saturday only, and smoking is not allowed.

One well-behaved dog is welcome. The lodge suits a family or two couples who want a hot tub and a tennis court on the doorstep, and is less good for anyone booking mainly for the swimming pools.
